The Journey Begins

Thanks for joining us!

Our Vison
God has called us to use our talents for him.  He has blessed us with the knowledge and abilities for mechanical, construction, plumbing, electrical, medical and preaching/teaching.
God has commissioned us all to reach the lost.  In our aim for evangelism we want to multiply the kingdom by using what he has given us and that is why our ministry is called “5 Talents for Christ”.
We are passionate about sharing the true gospel of Jesus Christ and Christ’s love thru village outreach as well as the interactive environment of Christian camps, medical ministries, construction, and mission trips.
About us
Marty and Michelle were called to missions May 2017.  After 4 mission trips to Mexico, Marty had a heart for Mexico, especially in Huachachil at Rancho La Paloma with Mike and Christie Starling. The ranch is a Christian camp in Mexico.  July 2017, on Marty’s 5th trip to the ranch, God confirmed our vision.  We want to base our ministry at the ranch/camp and assist the Starlings in maintaining the camp and help serve at the camp.  In addition to this we will continue to learn the language and create relationships and we want to be disciple by the Starlings as they teach us how to reach the villages of Mexico with the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We also plan to evangelize the villages by medical outreach ministries.  For example, while we were there in July we heard about a neighboring village where a little 7 year old boy choked to death because no one knew the Heimlich maneuver.  We take things for granted here in America.  Something as simple as first aid and CPR could be taught in the villages as well to the national pastors.  Just think how much faith or confidence the locals would have in someone that saved a life which then could open up their hearts to hear the truth and save their spiritual life.
Ministries
Camp Ministry
Camp ministry offers a retreat for kids and adults away from everyday hassles and can help introduce them to Jesus Christ, as well as offer spiritual renewal for believers and church leaders. The camp at Rancho la Paloma has endless possibilities.  Christian camps are a life changing way to heal hurts, breakdown walls, and share Jesus along with growing closer to our Lord and savior.
Outreach and Future Goals:

As we finish learning the language and creating relationships, we want to be disciple by the Starlings as they teach us how to reach the villages of Mexico with the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.  When we are not busy at the camp we want to be involved in village outreach as well as a blessing to the local pastors and missionaries by using our talents in any way they need us.  Whether we take a group on a mission trip or just go by ourselves, we want to help missionaries personally in Mexico and other countries and this will help free up time for them to focus on their ministries.  We would like to help the local pastors/missionaries meet needs by helping build and maintain facilities they need to reach people for Christ.  Again we could help missionaries on outreach by medical outreach, camps, preaching, etc., the possibilities are endless with the talents God has given us.  We will not only be building and maintaining physical structures but help build the kingdom of God.  Even more important than physical structures are the relationships that we will build with nationals as we work together/side by side.  Often times it is through those relationships that Christ’s love is revealed to those who are lost.

We ask for your support of our ministry.
Some are called to go and others are called to give.  We thank God for both.
Will you consider partnering with us?
Please pray for us.

“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve theLord”.   Joshua 24:15 (KJV)
